About
Philippine Poplu is a textile designer and illustrator. Graduated from the art direction program of ESAG Penninghen, she founded her own studio in Paris in 2013.
Her work covers a wide variety of techniques, styles and materials, including textiles, paper and ceramics, in all shapes and sizes. Her projects are essentially developed for the fashion and interior design industry and are all hand-drawn or hand-painted, featuring an extraordinary attention to detail and a choice of vivid colors and strong contrasts.
Philippine’s inspiration stems from nature and travel. As part of her creative process, she conducts extensive research on culture, art and history.
